About the Championship

After four seasons of breathtaking action, the leading racing series in the Middle East is back for more thrills.

Backed once again by Western Gulf Advisory (WGA), the 2011/2012 WGA Supercars Middle East Championship promises to bring together some of the best race car drivers in the region, forming a tightly knit grid that is itching to battle it out for the right to be crowned as the new undisputed champion.

Following the successful introduction of the teams' concept last year, the new campaign will witness an even higher level of competition between the five two-car teams that are set to feature in the Supercars' elite SC09 class.

Each squad will have the opportunity to showcase their very own ingenuity and professionalism, taking care of their entire operation from getting the car race ready to keeping their drivers happy with non-stop development within the regulations.

The SC06 class will remain as the arrive and drive option for those looking to take part in the championship's competitive rung. This offers new and gentlemen drivers the chance to experience firsthand what top-of-the-line pro racing is all about.
